Indulge in our Story:
Hello! My name is Amy, and I am so happy to introduce my passion of chocolate and candy making with the world. My culinary journey began at the age of fourteen when I was given the opportunity to work under an amazing chef in my hometown of Rockport, Texas. I worked at many amazing restaurants in town before pursuing Culinary School in Corpus Christi, Texas.
During my career in Corpus Christi and Port Aransas I obtained positions such as, general manager of an all-scratch made deli, pastry chef, sous chef, and also sushi chef. I was also able to work as a private chef on the Chapman Ranch where I had the pleasure to cook for our former President George H. W. Bush Sr. During covid my husband and I decided to move to Portage, Indiana since his family lives in Chicago to find better paying opportunities.
My first position acquired when moving to the area was at the world famous Nobu Hotel Chicago. I was hired as a pastry cook and moved my way up to lead pastry cook and there is where my love for chocolate making developed. I have always had a dream to open my own business someday and this is baby steps in that direction. I hope you enjoy all of my creations as much as I love making them.
